Back again

Hi guys, sorry for not posting in a while (I've been really busy), but here's another post for you to read!

I just wanted to say a quick thanks to the person who brought some cards! You are the first person (well, other than me) to get some - it means a lot to me to know that someone out there might like my game!

I was thinking about my old Genso cards, and I thought about remaking a few of them, but which ones? You can read through earlier posts, watch my YouTube videos, or go to FaceBook to see some which may not have been shown in this blog.

All old cards count and I'll try and show a bunch more, so that you guys can have more to pick from. You can pick 1 or 20, it doesn't matter. I won't remake them all, but some I will.
(N.R.G) (kronos) (Arobol)

These are just a few which I think look quite cool. And, since I will be creating 2 new elements (Electric and Ice), it only seems right to include some of them.

There are probably hundreds of cards; not all of them are going to be made, but a few would be nice, right? And also, isn't this sort of like a competition of sorts? I mean, you pick which ones you like and I may make them. Doesn't that sound like a competition?

To see a few more of my old cards you could go to YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA), or FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799). If you want to see other cards, then don't forget that I also have a DeviantArt (http://aero460.deviantart.com). And lastly, to get some of these awesome cards, check out my shop (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game)!

Continued mini battle

Well, it's not so mini after all, is it? Anyway, it was now my turn. I had no monsters against Cococlaw (A:90, D:50, L:30) and Takaw (A:30, D:20, L:110). I summoned Opitar (A:40, D:40, L:100), which has Fly. It could kill Cococlaw, but not Takaw too. So, down went Cococlaw and Takaw was left uneffected. On my sisters turn, she discarded her Takaw for Spuntix (A:70, D:40, L:100), which also has Fly! It's like every card in this game has been a bird!

Anyway, Spuntix knocked Opitars Life down to 60. On my turn, I discarded Opitar for a Spuntix of my own! However, mine had an advantage. Why? Because I gave the equip card Rage (it gives the monster the ability Fury)! My spuntix attacked her Spuntix twice, destroying it! She played Kailo on her turn (A:70, D: 40, L:100), and it attacked Spuntix. With my monster on 70 Life, I had to do something good - and quick. I summoned Boost (A:50, D:20, L:100), which boosted my Spuntix's attack up to 90!

Boost attacked first, leaving Kailo with 70 Life. Spuntix used one of it's attacks to kill it and the other to lower my sister's Health down to 110. It was her turn and she knew that it was over. She summoned Jackoo (A:70, D:40, L:120), and got Spuntix's Life down to 40, but it wasn't enough. On my turn, I discarded Boost for Police Bot. Spuntix used it's 2 attacks on Jackoo, and Police Bot took her Health to 0.

So, after a shaky start, I eventually won! I need to get some more cards soon, so that I can play even better games! You can see more of Genso on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA), my FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799), DeviantArt (http://aero460.deviantart.com) and my Shop (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game)!

Mini battle

In this post, I want to write about a mini battle I had with my sister. We played with all my cards (regardless of their element), and we both had 10 each. And whilst that is nowhere near 40, the game was still good. We only had 2 Equip cards each, but when they were used, it was annoying if you weren't the one using it!

I went first and summoned Wizor (A:70, D:40, L:90). And of course I drew 2 cards, thanks to Wizor's ability. Then, it was my sisters turn. She summoned Cococlaw (A:90, D:50, L:100), which I was a little upset about, because I love Cococlaw! However, that was not all. She played the Equip card Sky Orb (it gives a monster Fly), and she gave it to Cococlaw. With this new power, Cococlaw destroyed my Wizor. It was my turn and I wasn't too sure on what to do.

My usual tactic when I get Wizor first is to discard him for a Veteran monster next turn. I was a bit worried; especially because of how powerful Cococlaw had become. I got the monster Weeds (A:70, D:20, L:100). I knew that Weeds wouldn't last too long, but I just wanted to weaken Cococlaw. I also Equipped the Equip card Poison (the equipped monster becomes Poisoned) to Cococlaw, and Weeds attacked 3 times (thanks to it's ability). Cococlaw only went down to 40 Life, but I knew that it would be gone soon. And, at the end of the turn, Cococlaw lost another 5 Life.

On my sisters turn, she summoned Takaw (A:30, D:20, L:110). Cococlaw attacked Weeds, leaving it with a measly 10 Life. But it didn't last long, for Takaw also has Fly, and it destroyed Weeds. However, since Cococlaw was Poisoned, it lost an other 5 Life.

I'll continue this in my next post, because I don't want this to go on forever! Don't forget to check out my YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA), my FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799), DeviantArt (http://aero460.deviantart.com) and my Shop (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game)!

Inferno

For this post, I want to write about the new realm I'm making, Inferno. It's not going to be anything special (Utopia is my main realm!), butm it's just for fun. It's cool because Lava flows under the crysal floor, which is smooth and always shiny. And, the energy coming from the Psychic monsters not only keeps it from melting, but keeps it nice and cold.

There are perfectly smooth volcanos and floating cubes of crystal floating above holes in the ground. There are rivers of lava (and they, like everything else, are all straight and smooth) and whole crystal countries, which are seperated by lava oceans. And what is the greatest thing? Whenever they're under attack, the Psychic monsters just make lava shoot out form the floor underneath the enemy monsters. And if that doesn't stop them, then the powerful might of the Fire monsters will surely defeat them.

Another cool thing is that even if Inferno was taken from them, the invaders would just be killed without the Psychic monsters there!

Don't forget to check out my shop page (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game), where you can get the free rules and booster packs. Or, if you want to see more Genso stuff, go to my YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA). I also have a DeviantArt (http://aero460.deviantart.com) and a FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799). See ya!

Another archetype

I had a cool idea for an archetype. They'll basically screw the main rule of Genso... Can you guess what they'll do? Here is the El archetype!

That's a test idea of one. They'll be from all different elements, but how can you use them if you can only have 2 elements? Well (prepare for the rule screwing), they'll have a card which will break the very laws of Genso... This card will be indestructable, and it will always go to the top of your deck. When you play it, you can use any El monster in your deck without having to play by the normal element restrictions!

These will be great because you'll be able to combat elemental advatages pretty easily and they'll swap out for other El monsters, too. So, if you have a Water El monster and your opponent has a Grass monster, you can simply put the Water one in your deck and find another El monster and put it on the field. They'll be fun to play, and probably tough to beat with all the swapping!

The main reason why I like these is because they'll basically just ignore the rules which everybody else has to follow! What do you think?

You can subscribe to my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA), where you'll find loads of great Genso videos! Or, add me on FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799). Don't forget my DeviantArt (http://aero460.deviantart.com), for some cool TCG art! And, the coolest one of all, the Shop page (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game)!

Archetype ideas

So, for this post, I want to talk about future archetype ideas. I'll probably release them in their own decks sometime between Gen 2 and Gen 3, and they'll be released seperatly, too. I already have 2 ideas, but I'm stuck for others. Any ideas?

The first one is the Elf archetype. They'll be weak, but they'll have lots of X Combos. You've already seen some of these, so you know what I'm talking about. I'll probably make these first, because I really love the idea of them and I want to use them. They'll be like the Heroes in Yugioh (I know that they're dead now, but I won't be making any crazy rule changes), full of awesome cards!

Another idea I have is the Ring Archetype. They'll have names like Ring Master and Ring Lion, and they're looking really promising right now. I'll probably make them Psychic or Metal (or both). They'll be fun to play, too. They'll be boosted by the Ring monsters in the Dead Pile, and there will be loads of cards to return those, too. They'll be really annoying to verse, I think!

And that's all the ideas I've got for archetypes (they're really hard to come up with!). If you have any ideas, please let me know! You can comment here, or...

You could message me on FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799)! You could also let me know on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA) or DeviantArt (http://aero460.deviantart.com). And, if you want to show some support, get some packs from the Genso TCG Shop (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game)!

M.A.R Part 2

Next up for M.A.R (Make A Realm) is how it'll look. Do you want a peacful place? A war zone? A huge industrial land? This will help you out :)
Alright. This is where your dice comes in handy. Roll them and just write down where you landed. Keep on jumping from the different things until you end up back at the start. Got it? Also, if you get 2 things in the same part, it's okay, because you can either pick one or merge them together.
Terrain:
- (this is a blank, but count it in your jump.)
- Forest
- Ice
- Desert
- Mountain
- Cube
- Dead
- Industrial
- Heaven
- Chaos
Battle:
- War Zone
- Peacful
- Good-all-around
- Defensive
- Offensive
This is pretty much it. If you're unhappy with what you got, you could always go again! I got Cube, Chaos and Good-all-around. I'm actually quite happy with that. The Cube bit matches the Psychic element (I can imagine cubes floating above a smooth, flat floor), but the Chaos part probably goes better with Ghost, Fire, or Fight. However, I also like the idea of my Cube land also being mixed with the common idea of hell. Plus, Good-all-around is probably the best you can get (except for Peacful, that is).
I hope that this has helped you to think of a realm! Remember to change anything that doesn't suit you. You could even add a few things to the list above, just so that your realm will be even more unique to you!

You can go to my FaceBook for any news (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799), my YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA) for some videos about my card game, or the Genso TCG Shop (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game) where you can get some cards!

Make a realm

I'm going to try and help you to make a realm. This is for people who want to make one, but don't have a huge imagination. You'll need a dice and probably a bit of paper to write this all down for later.

Naming your realm: To make a name, just simply find your elements and pick one of the names with it.

Air - Caeli, Ventus, Cornu, Astra
Earth - Crystallo, Petram, Luto, Montis
Fight - Pugna, Bellator, Calcitrare, Broka
Fire - Ignis, Flamma, Pyros, Photia
Ghost - Spiravit, Tenuem, Mortuus, Zomala
Grass - Terra, Phila, Loudi, Thendro
Metal - Metallo, Orea, Mecha, Aluminia
Poison - Vena, Toxos, Dilitirio, Nucila
Psychic - Telepela, Kinisa, Visiza, Magispal
Water - Aquas, Atlantis, Hydros, Psaria

I'll probably continue this in another post, because it'll make a long post! Pick a name that you like, and change it so that it sounds better to you. If you want to watch some Genso TCG videos, you can go to my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA)! More comic stuff

I was thinking about what to write for this post, and I decided that it would probably be good to write more about the Genso comic. I'll probably use the name Battle-mech for the, well, Battle-mechs. About the whole school dilemma, I've got no clue. Maybe I'll just start the comic off without mentioning it. I could see how the comic goes and see if it needs a school to add a bit of realism. So, there are 4 main characters. As for bad guys, I'm not all too sure. I want to make a bad guy who comes from the future, and he wants to destroy me. I know why, but I need to leave something as a mystery, don't I?

Hold on... I know what I'm going to do. I go to school like normal, and I don't take my cards with me. After a while (once we've all gotten used to how the battles flow in the comic), then I'll introduce the bad guy. Of course, he'll try to destroy me - and he will fail because I'm the main character. You won't see much of my school after that (for a mysterious reason), and it'll just be my group of friends against the powers of the future!

I'm not sure what Mr.Future (that's his name for now) will do to stop me from doing my normal stuff, but I'll figure it out. Maybe he'll stop time for only us, and we have to try and get time, erm, unstopped. It's a bit dumb right now, but it's just the skeleton of a story. I still need to add the organs (the whole rest of the stuff) and the skin (which will be the actual comic). It sounds a little weird when put like that, doesn't it?

Anyway, do you want to see this in a comic? If so, let me know below. Or on FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799). If you want to see some concept art for the comic, then DeviantArt is the place to go (http://aero460.deviantart.com)! For videos, my YouTube is the place to be (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA). And finally, the Shop has all packs, which contain cards (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game) - and there are free downloadable rules, too!

Comical problem!

I'm having trouble deciding things for the Genso comic. So, I'll ask you guys (as the fans who I trust) what I should do. What should I call the thing that you put the cards on? For simplicity, I'll call it a Duel Disk for now.

I can't call it a Duel Disk, but what can I call it? When you think about it, it's used to put cards on. And, of course, the cards battle each other. It's kind of like a mechanical game board, I guess. Hmmm... How about calling it a Battle-something? How does a Battle-mech sound? I quite like the idea of using a Battle-mech, don't you? However, I'm not sure. I may think of something better (or you guys might).

I was planning on making it so that the main characters get their gear from Andreas' Dad, because he could work at Holo.co, right? The father of the genius is a genius, which makes sense. So, if that's the case, what should I do about a school? Having a school which teaches you to play a card game is a little bit dumb sounding (however, I love Yugioh GX). Would the kids there play during break time?

No, because the teachers would most likely confiscate the cards. And, of course, the really expensive Battle-mechs, which will cause a huge distraction during class - because they won't exactly fit in your pocket, will they? For a long time, there were no schools in Pokemon. Now I can see why! Maybe I'll make it so that they do their stuff outside of school (and maybe a litte bit inside). But, then again, would teachers allow their students to take days off to play in tournaments? I doubt it. What do you think I should do?

You can comment below, or you could message me on FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799). Don't forget about my deviantArt (http://aero460.deviantart.com) and my YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA)! Or, you could go to the Genso TCG Shop (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game) to get some packs!

Other competition ideas

I was thinking, wouldn't it be cool if I create a competition every time I hit 100 Subscribers? That would allow you guys to design loads of cool monsters (and win, I hope!)

Also, I could make competitions for anything related to this trading card game, not just monsters!
I'm thinking Special cards, elements - whole archetype ideas even! And also competitions for normal monsters, too. Magic and Equip cards would also be quite cool, don't you think? I always wanted this game to have loads to do with it's fans, will you (as my fans) help me with that?

I used to make loads of cool Pokemon ideas. Where are they now? Bouldilo, Makit, Goldy. All the monsters which never got noticed by Game Freak are now not Pokemon, but Genso monsters instead. I wanted to see them in a game sooo bad, but it just never happened.

That's not what I want for my card game! I want you guys to be able to join in on the creation, and have fun with it! I want everybody who wants to design monsters for my TCG to have the chance.
So, once again, help me out if you want the chance to see your ideas on official Genso cards (with your name, too)! Subscribe to my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA), ! Add me on FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799), check out my DeviantArt (http://aero460.deviantart.com)! And, of course, check out the Genso Shop page (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game)!

Competitions?

As you can probably guess from the title, this post is going to be about competitions. When will I make them? What will it be for? Who can participate? I'll answer them all in this post!
So, when? Well, when I have around 100 Subscribers on my YouTube channel, around 100 friends on FaceBook and so on, I'll do it. This is because I want there to be quite a lot of people to be able to join in. If I do it now, I'll probably only get around 10 entries. And I'm hoping to pick more than 1 winner!
I'm hoping to make the competiton for a new brother (or sister) for Roky and Volky. I would really like to see what you guys can come up with. It'll need to have a similar name to Roky and Volky (for example, Bulky, or Sulky), so that people who don't know about the competition will know that they're related in some way. I'll also like to add the creators name somewhere on the card, so that everyone knows who designed it.
And lastly, anybody can join in! All you'll have to do is put it up on DeviantArt and let me know - or send it to me on FaceBook, upload it in the comment section here, etc..
Would you like this competition to happen? Help me to get to 100 Subscribers! Hopefully, we can make this happen soon!
You can subscribe to my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA), where I make awesome videos! Or, add me on FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799) for any Genso TCG news (I'll probably post the competition on there first!). Don't forget my DeviantArt (http://aero460.deviantart.com)! And, the best thing you could do is get a pack from my Shop page (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game)!

More for Battles!

In this post, I thought that it would be cool to do a bit more on GB (Genso Battles). There are a few things that I missed out...

As you can see, there are a lot of similarites. You still have the same abilities (a few have been altered, but I'll get to that), stats (almost) and elements (few!). However, what does the new stuff mean?

The new S stat is probably going the be the first thing which catches your attention. It's the Speed stat and it tells you how many tiles (the squares which make up the board) you can move it per turn. Simple enough, right? Well, Fury has changed for this game. Instead of being able to attack twice, you can attack and move twice! Plus, it doesn't have to be straight away, you can move once and attack once, and then move it and attack another round! Another ability is Shoot. Instead of a direct attack, you can target any monster!

Also, you probably noticed the B rank. They are Buildings, and they can be played during your Summoning Phase. They stay where you put them and they often have cool abilities. They normally have a good Defence and Life stat, so you can use them to protect your Castle.
And that's it. What do you think? I might add new stuff and change existing stuff, because it's still an idea. Again, let me know what you think!

You can comment here or you can message me on FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799). I also have my DeviantArt (http://aero460.deviantart.com)for, well, art. My YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA) has loads of good Genso related videos, and my Shop has something even better... the cards (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game)!

Genso Battles

A little while back, I was working on another game; Genso Battles. It is like normal Genso, but it's also similar to a board game. When you summon a monster, you move it across the board. The aim of the game is to destroy your opponents Castle (which is the same as Health) before they destroy yours. I played it and it's actually quite fun. The rules are a bit different, though.

Once a monster has moved and attacked, they become tired and can't be used again until your next turn. In Genso Battles, the turns work differently. You have your Summoning Phase (you can summon as many Warrior monsters as you want, but you can only play one Hero or Veteran per turn), your Moving Phase and your End Phase. However, that is not all. You see, you take it in rounds to do stuff. So, at the start of a turn, you and your opponent draw 5 cards. You can do whatever you're allowed to do. Like summon 3 Warriors and a Hero monster, move them and attack (if there is anything to attack). However, if they move and attack, they become Exhausted (they can't do anything until your next turn). Once your round has finished, it's your opponents round. They can do the same. On your next round, you can still summon monsters, but not a Hero or Veteran, since you summoned one last round.

You can move any monster which isn't Exhausted, and attack with any that aren't. But the ones which do, become Exhausted. Now, at the start of your round you can end the turn, making it the next turn. Your opponent can also do this.

All your Exhausted monsters are back in action, and you draw until you have 5 cards (so if you still had a card, you'd draw 4). Then, since you ended the turn, you go first. And you do this until you destroy your opponents Castle, which is right at the back of the field, on their side.

Would you like to see this game? Let me know! You can comment below, or you could message me on FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799). You can check out my YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA)for awesome videos related to my card game (and possibly Genso Battles one day), or my DeviantArt, where I post pictures relating to my TCGs (http://aero460.deviantart.com). And the most important, my shop for some cards (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game)!

Spoilers!

As this is the 30th post for Genso, I wanted to show some of the new cards which WILL be in Generation 2. If you'd prefer to wait until Gen 2 is ready, then don't read on!

Here is an Electric monster (they're going to be so cool!), Porta, a new Ghost monster, Shade Wizor and new Earth monster, Crysto. These are probably some of favourite monsters yet (I know that Shade Wizor is just an evil Wizor, but I love Wizor), and I can't wait until I release them!

Here are another 3 monsters, Galacti, I Scream and Terotamus. I really like these guys, too! I Scream was made way back in Elementus, so it's a classic to me.

Our final 2 are a Pet card and a Kroma card! Yeah, a Kroma card. They're basically different coloured monsters. I'm showing you guys Maka and Blaze (the Kroma Blaze!), because they look pretty cool, don't you think?

And the're all the spoilers the spoilers that I'll show you. Let me know what you think below! If you want to watch some Genso TCG videos, then why not check out my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA)? Or, if you want to keep updated with any news, why not go to my FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799)? Or, if it's some awesome card game art you want to see, then why not go to DeviantArt (http://aero460.deviantart.com)? And, of course, if you want to get some cards, check out my Shop (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game)!

Your ideas

Do you have any new card ideas which you'd like to see in action and in the hands of all the Genso fans? You could let me know, and there's a chance that I may make them. Of course, if I do use an awesome fan made idea, I'll let every other Genso player know who the maker is!

I get new ideas all the time, but not all of them are great. And maybe you guys could make a new card idea which is better than the ones that I've come up with so far! I remember when I once made a really cool idea for Yugioh. It never got noticed or anything. That's why I'm doing this, so that anybody like me can actually have a chance of getting their card (and themselves for thinking of it) noticed. It could even be an idea for a new Element! Any ideas that you have, I want to hear them!

Whatever your idea is, just comment below!

You can check out my YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA) where I make cool videos for my TCG, my DeviantArt (http://aero460.deviantart.com) if you want to see some Genso art, or my FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799) where I'll keep you updated on any news. My ideas

I've had loads of crazy ideas for the future of Genso... Like Magic monsters, Y combos, Z Combos (like X combos but different), God cards (not like Yugioh, or the rank) and double cards! I'll need to explain all these ideas! However, none of these have been tested yet, so bare with me!

Magic monsters will be able to be used as either a Magic card or a monster in a game. These could be really awesome and powerful as a result, in my opinion. Y Combos were actually created back in Elementus V2! So, they've been tested. Basically, you mix 2 of the same monster together to make an even better version of it. Like evolution in Pokemon, they get bigger and better. Like Wizor would become Wizlord, and 2 Wizlords together would become Wizaster!

These are actually very similar to X Combos and they work really well. Z combos would just be any monsters making a bigger one. Like Veteran cards and Heroes - but you'd have them in your Special deck, so once you have enough monsters you could just get the Z monster straight away. I do want to make more cool rules and stuff for these guys, but I'm not too sure just yet on everything.

Gods cards will have a place next to the deck and they'll be like the Plainswalker cards in Magic. For any non-Magic players there will be counters, and you can remove counters once per turn to choose a thing to do. Like, paying three counters will allow you to draw an extra card or something like that. Double cards will be really cool. They'll be half of a monster on one card, and the other half on another. You can only summon these monsters together, so you'll have to wait until you get them both.

You play them at once and they'll count as one monster, but they'll have 2 Attack stats and will be able to attack twice!

Making a map?

If you want to be able to make a map like mine, then this post is for you! This is only for the lines of the map (the rest is all PhotoShop), by the way.

First, get a piece of paper. Try not to get a small one, because you won't have any room for the land! Then, you'll need something small that you have a lot of, like dice. Then, you grab a bunch of your dice (or whatever you have - maybe pasta or dried beans?) and roll them onto your piece of paper. Next, just draw around them. Don't be exact, though. Do a little curve somewhere and make another bit bigger or smaller, so that it looks a little more like how you want it.

Then, pick a place on your map (for example, the center of a big island), and roll more dice there. Of course, you may want to remove the dice from the previos bit before you do that! Then, just keep on doing that around your first one or on any other islands (remove the dice first, though!) until the bits of land are filled with seperated places.

Next is the hardest part, naming them and making them places! You could add a few little trees to show that the place is a jungle or a forest, or maybe some triangles for mountains. This part is also the most fun to do, I think. Once you've done that, you're pretty much done. You can colour it (or use your laptop or computer) if you want, or you could just leave it as it is.

I hope that this has been helpful to anybody who was unsure as to how they could make an amazing map (like mine!). If you want to watch some Genso TCG videos, go to my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA)! Or, for any news, you could check out my FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799). If you want to see some more Genso art, then why not go to DeviantArt (http://aero460.deviantart.com)? And, of course, if you want to get some cards you could go to my Shop (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game)!

Making Utopia

Ah, so we come to making Utopia. Well, even though I have been making it already (how else would it have an awesome history?), this is a different kind of 'making' it. No more words, because I've mostly got that part done. Now is for the creating of a beautiful paradise where my monsters will call home. By that, I mean designing it!

That is a picture of the new map. I still need to add place names and different icons to show what a place is (for example, a forest or a city), but I'm happy with the shape of the land. After the map is done, I want to make some really cool looking places. For example, the Wizor Tower. Then, I'll make the Shadow Utopia versions! I'll make pictures of battles and loads of stuff! It will be like a real place - with a map, locations and history. Most pictures that I make for Utopia are probably going to be of epic battle scenes, with monsters charging into battle and fighting!

However, I still need to finish the map. It isn't all bad, though, because it's fun to make stuff for Utopia. I'm even making a Utopian language! But it may be a little bit advanced for now, since I only have a little bit finished. 'Hello' is 'chimai' and 'bye' is 'abong'. Two very needed words. I also have 'karuki', which means 'cool'!

Maybe this has given you some ideas as to what you could do. You don't even have to make a realm, you can just play! I prefer to make places, lands and awesome stories to go with my deck, which is how I came up with the realm idea! You could make a Water and Earth (or maybe Fight) realm called Antlantis, for example. You could name your realm New York if you wanted to! That might be a cool idea, actually... It could be like a paralel dimension or something!

Don't forget to check out my YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA) for videos about Genso, FaceBook for (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799) any news on this card game, DeviantArt (http://aero460.deviantart.com) for any art that I make for Utopia and cards, and my Shop (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game) if you want some cards! Friends and foes

This post will be about my friends and foes in the possible Genso comic. My sister will be part of the group and her signiture monster will be Clouy. Her elements will be Air and Ghost, just like real life. In the comic, she'll want to collect all the cutest cards! Another character will be my friend Andreas, who'll want to find out more about the technology which everyone uses to battle. He hopes to one day invent something which will work even better than the system that everyone uses. He'll have a Fire and Fight deck.

Another one of my friends is Chris; he'll have a Metal and Ghost deck. I'm not too ure as to what his goal will be yet, but I'll think of something before I make the comic.

As for my foes, I'd like the main protagonist to be from the future. He (for some unknown reason) wants to defeat me in battle. Again, I don't quite have his story yet, but I know that he'll be from the future! I could make a group of thugs who steal cards from players. It would be quite cool to face of against their leader, who'll basically be the same as all other crime bosses. Other than that, it'll all be battles against random people. That's the main point of it really, battles!

What do you think? Do you have any cool ideas for another friend or foe? Let me know below, or you could message me on FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799). If you want to see more card game stuff, you can watch some videos on my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA). Or, you could get some of your own cards at the Genso Shop (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game), and make your own legendary battles!

A comic?

In this post, I want to ask you how you would feel about a Genso comic. The main character would be me and my signiture monster will be Wizor. I'll have a few friends (for now you don't need to know them), a few enemies and a lot of battles!

The story will be quite simple; I want to be the best player. Just like everyone else, right?!
So, I go to tornaments and challenge everyone. My friends will help me, whilst having their own stuff to do, and I'll have a few enemies! There will be a little device which shows you holograms of monsters (it'll be kind of like a VR headset, but smaller and easier to walk around with). So, I'll be able to walk around with my Wizor, which I'll obviously do. The only thing that I'm unsure on is where the cards will go during a battle.

I need to design something simple and lightweight... I sort of have an idea, but I'll talk more about that in another post. What do you think? Would you like a comic like this? Or would you maybe prefer it if I made a comic about Utopia? I think that it'd be cooler to make a comic in the first way; it will be fun to draw myself in my own comic world of Genso!

X Combo cards (W.I.P)

Yeah, this post is going to be about some test stuff for X Combo cards! I know that I already did this, but this post will have pics of some test versions! So, the X Combo cards...

As you can see, they're in the old style template. That's because I find it easier to draw, and for now I just want to test their gameplay. They won't have an element (so if you have the correct monsters, you can summon it), and the cards that you use to make it will be called Material.

This one, Pop Corn Elf, needs Pyro Elf and Corn Elf .These will be part of a test archetype that I'm thinking of making. They'll basically have loads of X Combos, which I can't wait to try! You'll probably see these cards and the X Combos properly near Gen 3, because I want to make the Pet cards first. These X Combo cards are going to make a crazy new way of playing this game!

So, what do you think of how they'll (sort of) look? And what about the Elf archetype? I really like them, and I'll probably use them one day. You can check out my FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799) for more Genso stuff, or my YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA) for some videos on this TCG or my Shop (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game), where you can get some Booster Packs!

Until the next post, good bye :)

Best battles

For this post, I want to ask you what your best battle ever is. It can be from any game, like Yugioh, Pokemon, Magic, Vanguard, or any other game. Just comment below the best battle you've ever had. My best battle was probably from Genso (I've played it and barely anything else for nearly 3 years), and I was versing my little sister. I had Grass and Ghost, while she had Air and Fire. Sometimes, you get lucky. And that day my sister was very lucky. Whenever I did something, she stopped it. And whenever she did something, it was really powerful and I just had to watch as my Health went down pretty fast.

Then, I drew a card called Mushboom (Mushboom has the same ability as Bomba). She was so scared to attack it that she didn't do anything for a few turns. Whilst that was going on, I was summoning weak monsters to chip away at her big ones. Even though they all got destroyed, Mushboom wasn't touched - and neither was my Health.

After a while, she attacked Mushboom, destroying everything. Then, on my turn, I used a card called Zombie (it allowed you to return a monster from any Dead Pile to your field), and brought back her best monster. I used it to eventually beat her, because it was so strong that she couldn't destroy it!
And that was it. She got really lucky and nearly won, but the luck changed and I just managed to win. It may not have been really easy, but it really was epic! Have you played a battle better than that? Let me know below!

You can check out my YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA) where I make awesome videos for my TCG, or my FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799) where I'll keep you updated on any news. Talura

This post is going to be about Talura, my little sisters realm. The monsters in Talura are of the Air and Ghost element and it's a peaceful place. The Air and Ghost monsters live on a huge cloud and they all work together to keep Talura nice and safe - however, it was once a war zone, full of chaos and death. Talura was once a realm of Air monsters only, until the dead came back to life. They claimed that since they were there many millenia ago, the land belonged to them. However, the Air monsters did not agree with this. So, a war had began. It was the mighty power of Air against the never dying armies of the undead.

For thousands of years, the Talurans (both new and old) battled. Until one day, one of the eldest leaders of the Ghost warriors put forward the idea that, since they were going nowhere with fighting, they should consider joining forces with the new inhabitants of Talura. Luckily for them all, the Air leaders were glad to accept these new undying warriors into their army and they now live together peacefully for the greater good.

However, a new army has been trying to take their land recently - and they are known as the Utopians!

What do you think of Talura? I like the idea of the dead monsters coming back to life, only to realise that there are new monsters living on their land! I also like the idea that they now work together to keep Talura theirs. However, the Utopians will take Talura and make it Utopia 2!

Cards and stuff

As you may have already guessed, this post is going to be about some of my cards - and stuff. What I mean by that is a few cards (for example, Wizor) and a bit about them. So, first is my favourite card, Wizor. Wizor isn't the greatest card in the game, but I love it! To me, it's kind of like Pikachu to Pokemon. Wizor is like the mascot of Genso, I guess. Even though it isn't every where you look, it'll be the main character in a comic that I want to make sometime in the future.

Well, sort of. I'll be the main character, but Wizor will be my trademark card. The inspiration for Wizor is a little bit crazy, so be prepared! So, I used to have an app called Geometry Dash, and the character I used was similar to Shy Guy from Mario. It was just a cube with a Shy Guy mask. That was it. However, I had the colours that you see on Wizor today in the game! Wizor is basically a weird version of Shy Guy! So, that's how I got my inspiration for Wizor.

Another card that I want to talk about is Jackoo. I really like Jackoo, even though it isn't game changing. The thing is, Jackoo was once orange instead of purple! It looked kind of weird, so I changed it to purple. I think that it's much better now! I loved the idea of a pumpkin with souls bursting out of it, it just seemed so cool! Jackoo was actually the 8th monster I made, can you guess which one was the first?

You can comment below which one you think ;)
Another one is Bouldilo. The inspiration for this card was an armadillo - I love Bouldilo, but he looks nothing like one! It took me ages to draw it and it only ended up looking sort of like what it was supposed to. However, even though I never got it perfect, I still made the best armadillo I've ever done. And that's why I like him.

Another one that was hard was Makit. Drawing hands isn't my strong point, so why I decided to try and make a hand monster I don't know. But, I actually think that I did really well!
Heck, it's better that just a circle!

Anyway, what do you think? What monsters would you like me to talk about next? Let me know below! Or, you could message me on FaceBook instead (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799). Future ideas

For this post, I wanted to talk about some of the ideas that I have for the future of Genso. For example, new kinds of cards and elements. I'm making 2 new elements for Generation 2, Ice and Electric! They're really cool, and I found out how to draw some really cool dragons! I also found a cool way of making people, so I've got 2 people in the Fight element coming up. I was thinking about other elements for the far future, like maybe Light and Dark. However, I think that Dark may be too much like Ghost to be its own element.

I've made some Pet cards for Generation 2, too. They basically partner up with any monster. They're weak, but they don't take up a monster slot, because they're with the monster! They're like baby versions of monsters and when you put them with their bigger version (like if Wiz was partnered with Wizor), they get a bonus. Because the Pets can't be attacked, they don't have a Defence or Life stat. I'm making quite a few, so be ready for them!

I have a few other ideas like that (lets call them Special monster cards, because they're not like normal monsters). Another idea for Special monster cards are the X Combos. Basically, you'll be able to mix 2 monsters together to make a cooler one! You need an X card to fuse them, and the actuall X card will need to be in your Special Deck. This will probably be something which I'll introduce in Gen 3.

One X Combo card idea I have is a mix of Volky and Roky! Another thing that I want to do in the future is competitons - where you guys can make your own monsters and I'll pick the best looking ones. It'd be so cool to do that! And also archetypes are something that I have plans for. I'm thinking Gen 3, because they'll go well with X Combos.

And there are all the (possible) ideas I have for the game so far. What do you think of them? Do you have any ideas which you think could work awesome in Genso? Why not let me know? You can comment below, or you could message me on FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799).

Why not check out my YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA), where I'll keep you guys updated on what I'm doing, too. You could get a Booster Pack from my Shop (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game) if you want to help me out . I want to make this the best TCG ever, and I need your help!

Thanks for reading!

Another few Magic and Equip

I'm going to be showing you another bunch of Magic and Equip cards today; this will be the last post on them. So, if you don't see all of them here, you'll have to wait until you get one of them!

Here we have Ancient Text, Slots, Moon Energy and Sun Energy. Ancient text allows you to return 2 cards from your own (or your opponents!) Dead Pile to your hand. It's really good if you just destroyed one of your opponents really powerful monsters, or if they just used a really good Magic or Equip card, so I'd take 2.

Slots is a bit of a risky card because you have to flip a coin; if it's heads you draw 5 cards, but if it is tails then your opponent draws 5 cards. The reason that this is good is because you can use it when you're about to lose - and it could save you if you get heads. I'd probably still only take one, though.
Moon Energy is a great card if you have Ghost monsters. It gives all Ghost monsters on your field 20 Defence for 2 turns. It may not be for long, but it's long enough to do something. I won't take any, because I don't use Ghost cards. Sun Energy is similar, but it gives 20 Attack to all Fire monsters on your field for 3 turns. A really good card, but only for anyone with a Fire deck.

For the Equip cards, we have Double The Size, Half The Size, Element Swap and Iron Hand. Double The Size doubles the stats of the equipped monster for 2 turns (which is super useful!), whereas Half The Size halves an enemy monsters' stats permenantly. Both are actually very good, but I'd only take one of each.

Element Swap is obvious, it swaps the element of a monster! This is good when cards like Sun Energy are in use. I won't take any, because I like my elements! Last is Iron Man (Hand), which gives the equipped monster another 20 Attack. Again, an awesome card. I'd take one, because I like to attack!

And that is the last of what I'll show you of the Magic and Equip cards (there are still another 10 of each, which I'll leave as a mystery). Maybe this has helped you to pick what sort of cards you want in your deck. I like an even mix of everything, but you could pick anything that works with you.

If you want to get a Booster Pack which contains a whopping 18 cards, you can check out the Genso Shop page (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game), you can follow me on FaceBook to see any news that I may have (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799). I'll post again soon!

More Magic and Equip

Hi again, guys! I'm going to show some more of the Magic and Equip cards in this post, so let's start with some Magic cards!

So, here we have Star Power, Monster Swap and Back-Up. Star Power is like 1-Up, but the exact opposite... Your enemy loses 50 Health! I'd probably take just one Star Power, because I like to attack my opponent  more than anything else. Monster Swap is great when you have a weak monster and your opponent has a strong one. You simply swap your monsters and you've got the best card. I'd again only take one of these, but it is really useful. Back-Up is super great, because it allows you to summon 2 monsters! You could use Back-Up and then discard them to summon a Hero monster! I'd probably take 2 of these.

These Equip cards are Cure, Poison and Boom. Cure can stop the equipped monster from getting Burned or Poisoned. It also clears your monster of Poison and Burn if it already had them! It is seriously useful against a Fire or Poison deck, but not so much against any other elements. So, I'd only take one. Poison basically does the opposite. You equip it to an enemy monster and they become Poisoned. Simple and effective, so I'd be sure to take one (maybe even 2).

Last is Boom. Great for killing big numbers! When the equipped monster is destroyed, all monsters are destroyed. It has saved me many times, so I know that I'd take at least 2!

And they're all the ones that I'm going to show you for now, because I like leaving a little bit of mystery... Want to see what other ones there are? You can get a Booster Pack from the Genso Shop (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game) and get some of your own! Or, you could watch me open a pack on my YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA) and see what I get. You can follow me on FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799) to keep up with any Genso news.
See you in the next post ;)

An update on Utopia

It's been a while since I did a post on Utopia, hasn't it? So, I'm just going to tell you what other things I've made in this time (or stuff that's been changed).

As for the story of how Utopia came to be the pretty dangerous place it now is (thanks to Shadow Utopia), there isn't much news. I want to create some kind of campaign about a war between them in the future, but for now I'm just making the history. What I have done is thought about Shadow Utopia! It will be a place full of evil and darkness. The fact that it rains lava is a concern for them, but the fact that they all want to destroy each other is an even bigger problem!
It really is a nasty place to be. However, it's like a mirror land. Anything that happens in Utopia happens in Shadow Utopia. The only difference is the monsters. They think in their own way, but end up doing the same thing some how. No matter how differently they think! The cool twist is that they look the same as the normal Utopians. Why is that cool, I hear you ask. Well, remember when Tachi went into Shadow Utopia? He didn't come back out...

The Shadow Quil had been working on a portal to another land (so that he could destroy it), and the portal that the normal Quil had made linked to the Shadow one. As I said, they unintentionly do the same thing.

Skipping ahead a little while, Tachi went into Shadow Utopia. And, (story change!) at the same time, the Shadow Tachi went into the normal Utopia! The sun hurt his eyes, but once he got into shade, he eventually got used to the pain. Because he went straight into the shade, he was well hidden from the other Utopians (who didn't see him). Once he was okay with the light, he went back into Shadow Utopia to tell Shadow Quil everything that he had seen and experienced.

In the mean time, the Shadow Utopians had locked the normal Tachi in a cage - and he couldn't escape. Quil had the genius idea to send Shadow Tachi back into Utopia to pose as the normal Tachi!
That's all the crazyness I've got for now, but I'll definetly need to thik up some more exciting stuff to happen! What do you think will happen? You can comment below, I'd love to know what you think! If you want to help me out, you can follow me on FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799), or subscribe to my channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA), or you could get a Booster Pack from the Genso Shop page (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game) to show me that you like it.

But for now, this Utopian is out (again)!

Some Magic and Equip

Well, now all that's left to show you are the Magic and Equip cards (and a few sneak peeks at some Generation 2 cards). There are 20 of each - and they are what you need to support your monsters and help you out. I won't be able to show you all of them, but I'll do as many as I can.

First up are a few of my favourite Magic cards, Reborn, Helping Hand and Stop. 1-up gives some Health, so that you have more chance of winning, Helping Hand is great when you have no hand cards and Stop is amazing if you need another turn. In my  perfect deck, I'd probably take 2 or 3 1-ups (they're super useful), 3 Reborns (you just need them when you lose a powerful monster!) and probably only 1 Stop, because even though it's very useful, I have other cards which I'll need to take!

Here are 3 great Equip cards: Mystic Power, Transform and Sickness. Sometimes, you need a monster with the ability Mystic, but only a few cards in the game have it. You just need to equip Mystic Power to a monster, and done!
Transform is great if an enemy has a powerful monster and you only have a few weak monsters. All of your monsters become the enemy monster for 2 turns, which is long enough to set your opponent back a bit.

Lastly is Sickness. I thought that it would be great if a monster could get weaker if the owner of it had loads of cards in their hand, and it is! I'd take 2 Mystic Powers, 2 Transforms and probably only one Sickness. Even though it's really good, I can only see myself needing one of them.
What do you think of these cards? They really are game changing!

To get them, you can go to the Genso Shop (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game), or, if you want to see me opening my own pack, go to my YouTube and check out the video (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA). If you want to keep up with any news, you can follow me on FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799) , too.
Thanks for reading!

Fight and Water

These are the last 2 elements I have to show you guys! After this post, you'll have seen every monster there is (including a few Generation 2 monsters). The only thing you don't know about them is their stats, but I'll leave that as a mystery. However, you still haven't seen the Magic and Equip cards, but I'll make sure that you see some of them as well.

As you can see, there are quite a few cool monsters here. You've got Makit, Wynor, Fynn and quite a few other ones which I really like. These elements don't really have any bonus working together, but they do with other elements (like Fight and Earth, or Fire and Water). The thing is, you can take any 2 elements you want and make your deck great. The elements were originally only there to seperate monsters. All you have to do is see which monsters you like the most!

And don't forget that Generation 2 is coming soon (with loads of new cards), so you'll have even more to choose from. Speaking of Generation 2, who wants a peek at a few new Fight and Water cards?

I hope that after these posts you've got an idea on what monsters you like and which elements you want to have. I might show of some more Generation 2 stuff soon ;)

If you want to get a Booster Pack (which has 18 cards by the way), you can go to the Genso Shop (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game) - or visit my YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA), or my FaceBook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019918095799) if you simply want to see more. And that's it guys, see you!

The monsters in Fire and Earth

I'm back again with all the monsters available to you in a Fire and Earth deck!

These two elements are good together because of how they are. For example, some Fire monsters have the ability Burn. Which works well if you have another monster on the field with a high Defence. And Earth monsters have a great Defence! The enemy monster slowly dies as your Earth monsters take a little bit of damage.

Then, you sacrifice your nearly dead Earth monsters to summon an even greater Hero monster, capable of finishing the job. You may have a problem against monsters with Fly, though... But who doesn't? Monsters with Solid and Mystic, like Roky  (an Earth Veteran monster) or Pearly (an Earth Hero monster).

Plus, Gem is great when trying to slow down your enemy! Before I finish up, I'll show you some monsters to come ;)

And that is all for these two elements. They work great together with this strategy, don't they? Metal would probably work well with Fire, too.

If you want to get some of these monsters, why don't you get a Booster Pack from the Genso shop page (https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/genso-the-trading-card-game), or you can go to my YouTube for more things about Genso (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaktQ_2MU_TOtDX-i5qqSqA).
